His life at the family is hard!
ISHIWE Damien turns 16 years old, he was born with no disability but at his 4 months he got cerebral malaria which was affecting his brain and led to physical and mental disability with epileptic seizures, his parents live in extreme poverty and it is hard to find foods for the family, they tried their best to support Damien for medical care but was difficult due to limited finance, Damien did not yet attend the school like other kids, he is home dependent, his care is difficult to the family members because they live on the feet of the hill and he gains weights as he grown up.
Damien is usually affected by a sudden alteration of behavior due to a temporary change in the electrical functioning of his brain which are epileptic seizures, this led him to take daily anti-epileptic drugs. So far these medications are not easy to fund for his family and Damien is gaining more wait so that it is hard for his transport from home to the hospital.
we do advocacy to run our initiatives and our actions started in january 2020 we started with nothing unless the family members efforts and our professional knowledge to carry on these initiatives
