A Journey of Hope for Fabrice KWITONDA at GATAGARA Hospital
In our organization every child we meet reminds us of why our mission is so important.
Fabrice KWITONDA is the only child in his family and was born without legs, and his hands have limited function. Despite these challenges, Fabrice’s bright smile and resilience speak louder than words, a symbol of strength and courage in the face of adversity.
STC worked tirelessly to seek support and organize Fabrice’s transfer to GATAGARA Hospital, a specialized institution in Rwanda dedicated to serving people with disabilities. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in Fabrice’s life, where he can access the specialized rehabilitation and education that he needs to grow, learn, and thrive.
Our work, however, does not stop here. STC is now preparing to ensure Fabrice’s long-term stay at GATAGARA Hospital, so that he can benefit fully from both medical care and education designed for children with special needs. This is a step toward giving Fabrice the opportunity to build an independent life, despite the challenges he faces.
we do advocacy to run our initiatives and our actions started in january 2020 we started with nothing unless the family members efforts and our professional knowledge to carry on these initiatives
