STC Bids Farewell to Intern Leonie Schrenker After a Meaningful Social Work Internship
Stand Together for Change (STC) recently organized a warm farewell to mark the successful completion of Leonie Schrenker’s internship in Social Work, which officially ran from 1st August 2025 to 31st January 2026. During these six months, Leonie became an integral part of the STC family, working closely with an inclusive society of children, their families, and staff members. She actively supported social work activities, community outreach programs, family visits, and daily activities within STC’s inclusive Early Childhood Development (ECD) center, contributing meaningfully to the organization’s mission of inclusion and empowerment.
Throughout her internship, Leonie demonstrated strong professionalism, empathy, and dedication. She built trusting relationships with children and families, participated in pedagogical activities, and collaborated with staff to improve the well-being of children with disabilities. Her commitment was clearly visible in the way she engaged with the community and embraced STC’s values of respect, solidarity, and inclusion. During the farewell, children and staff expressed their gratitude through messages, drawings, and shared moments that reflected the positive impact Leonie made during her stay.
