EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT (ECD) AWARENESS DAY IN MUHANGA DISTRICT (Umunsi Wahariwe Ubukangurambaga Kumikurire myiza yabana Mwirerero)
On March 28, 2025, STC attended the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Awareness Day in Muhanga District. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood development, particularly for children with disabilities, and to promote inclusive growth within the community.
The day commenced with an opening speech by guests including district and Sector officers Founders and Executive Directors of different NGOs attending the event, NDEGEYA Sylvain the CEO of STC who emphasized the organization's commitment to fostering inclusive growth and development for all children with and without disabilities. He highlighted the significance of early childhood development in unlocking the full potential of children, especially those with disabilities as STC was only one organization that support Inclusive Early Childhood Development in their programs.
we do advocacy to run our initiatives and our actions started in january 2020 we started with nothing unless the family members efforts and our professional knowledge to carry on these initiatives
